SharedRoots is a place for your family's private information, and we treat it that way. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have. It's written to be readable — if anything is unclear, email privacy@sharedroots.family.
What we collect
The information you add — family members, calendar events, custody schedules, expenses, messages, and info-bank entries — plus the account details needed to sign you in (name, email). We do not sell your data or show ads.
Isolation between families
Every record belongs to a single family and is isolated at the database level. One family can never see another family's data.
CoParent (AI)
When you ask CoParent a question, the relevant slice of your family's data is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. It is not used to train their models. CoParent only answers about your own family's data.
Your controls
You can view, edit, and export your family's data at any time, and request deletion of your account. Reach us at privacy@sharedroots.family for any data request.
